THE WEE GUIDE TO SPOOKY STUFF

According to research, more than 1.5 million people living in Scotland believe in ghosts - and one in four of those claim to have actually seen one - but is it true? Being something of a sceptic, journalist Deedee Cuddihy decided to investigate and was more than a little surprised to discover that a majority of the people she spoke to had tales to tell of "ghoulies and ghosties . . . and things that go bump in the night"!

"The Wee Guide to Spooky Stuff", the latest title in the Funny Scottish Books series, features dozens of first-hand accounts of ghostly grannies, poltergeist activity and sessions with Ouija boards and spirit mediums, not to mention psychic goats and the witch who put a spell on someone's nose.

My husband's mum worked as a cleaner in the King's Theatre in Glasgow for years. It's supposed to be very haunted and she was always seeing ghosts there but she just used to clean around them.
